Who We Are

Our mission is to co-create a learning model that places people and community at the center of education in Midtown Kingston. We work alongside youth, families, and supportive adults to design spaces where every voice and life experience is valued. By uplifting the wisdom already present in our neighborhoods, we aim to empower young people to direct their own learning and shape meaningful change within their communities.
We believe education should not be confined to classrooms—it should be a living, evolving process that nurtures curiosity, reflection, creativity, and connection.

Our Mission

For too long, traditional schooling has marginalized the voices of young people and their families, treating education as something done to them rather than with them. Many learners have been pushed out or left unheard, despite the knowledge and insight they carry.
We exist to create an alternative—a learning environment rooted in love, belonging, and interdependence. Our work stands as an invitation to reimagine what education can be: a shared journey of empowerment, healing, and transformation for both youth and the adults who support them.

Why We Exist
